Description:

2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Convertible

Only ~8000 miles!  Sinister Viper Black! Interior and exterior are in perfect, like-new condition.  Hard to believe this Viper is 12 years old! Get it just in time for Spring!

What's Special about this Viper:

New Nitto Invo tires, new Diehard gold battery, Updated Viper Specialty PCM Computer (more power, better throttle response, smoother idle, skip shift eliminated, will pass emissions test), tinted side and rear windows, new LED interior lights, new heater fan blower motor/resistor, new spark plugs and plug wires. Paint is damn near PERFECT!

THIS IS A GREAT DRIVER!!! And with only ~ 8000 miles on it, you can drive it to your heart's content. It is guaranteed to put a smile every time you drive it or look back and stare at it!

This Viper does have a rebuilt/restored title - hence the low starting price. Previous owner did not respect the power (510hp/535tq) and got “Snake-bit" - (#1 Rule of driving a Viper - front wheels must be pointed straight when really getting on the GO pedal - or you WILL spin out.)  Spin-out wreck took out the rear quarter panel, trunk lid, bumper, inner trunk, and driver door - all replaced with new panels.  Upper frame area that supports the top of the driver’s side trunk tub and rear quarter panel was also replaced/sleeved for a strong, factory-like result. This is the 3rd Viper I’ve rebuilt (White Custom Viper in background was my last project), and it came back together flawlessly!  Lines are perfect and it drives perfect!  I had the front bumper repainted as there were numerous scrapes. Repairs documented with hundreds of pics that I'm happy to share.

Since I'm a perfectionist, let me share some minor blems of note (see pics): couple of rubs and two fixed ¼” holes on convertible top. From 4 feet away - these are not even noticeable - and remember - this is a CONVERTIBLE - so 99% of the time a total non-issue. Small area of road rash on front passenger wheel - again not even visible from 4' away. Driver door top strip repaired, not the original radio.  Needs: second key/key fob, floor mats, and really needs TO BE DRIVEN!

So why am I selling … With such low miles, I bought this as a second Viper to use more as my daily driver and trip taker - yes, I find Vipers - especially convertible Vipers - perfect for driving around town, trips to the grand canyon, and some of the amazing national parks nearby. A new business opportunity is taking up most of my time - so one Viper is enough … for now ...

Please ask any all questions as I want you to be happy with your purchase.

Sorry - No trades. Please don't waste my time if you can't complete the sale.

Will consider a reasonable offer.

I’m located near Phoenix, so weather is perfect to inspect and test drive for SERIOUS buyers. Drive it home yourself, or I'd be happy to personally deliver it anywhere in the U.S. for a small fee as it's a great driver.

I received a couple of questions regarding the title and insurance - and here is some additional information. Happy to answer any and all questions.

Your previous message - "Can you clarify. Rebuilt or Salvage title please." Thanks for the question. It does have a rebuilt title - or to clarify even more - Arizona lists it as a "restored title". Arizona is one state that uses the term restored title. They define a restored salvage vehicle as one that was previously issued a certificate of title branded as salvage title, but has now been repaired/restored. Also - insurance has not been an issue as I'm using Geico for my car insurance.

Regarding the marks on the top. If you want perfection - you can buy a brand new top for about $1600. There are also used Viper tops on eBay for about $600. I added a new picture that shows the top covered by the Mopar "Boot Cover" or parade cover. This completely covers the marks (which are barely noticeable anyhow) and really finishes off the look. I'll throw this in with the purchase as I really don't use it that often with my other Viper. Let me know if I can answer any additional questions or provide additional info for you. Best regards, John
