I installed the Howe ball joints on my 01. Impact gun made it easy. Make sure you thread them in straight, seemed like you could cross thread if not careful.

Damn how short are you lol?? I’m 6’5” and even with the seat lowering kit, me left knee barely clears the dash. Maybe you can get some custom shoes made.
Polyurethane bushings from energy suspension.
Thanks for the write up. I've been having issues getting the front aligned after replacing the ball joints, bushings and stabilizer links. I welded up my own camber gauge with a digital angle finder...
I put that my vehicle is out of state, and get my reg sticker every year without issues. Love Texas, now Illinois was a pain in the ass.
I’m missing a few pieces to complete this mod and don’t ever see going back to stock. I think this is one of those mods that won’t depreciate the value of the car if I would consider selling. Unless...
I bought a set from Howe and a set from summit. Summit might still have the uppers , not sure on the lowers. The Howe boots are on backorder til November. Their rubber is not as thick as oem but they...
After reading this, I went to town on my front end. After inspecting it I replaced all the ball joints and bushings up front with parts from energy suspension and Howe racing. Cleaned and painted...
Awesome work man, all that hard work is paying off. I need to repaint my side sill covers. What type of intake/exhaust setup are you running in the paint booth ?
Badass bro, I’m going to call them tomorrow to see what’s up with mine.
Just took mine off recently. Screws underneath, wheel well and a few push clips by the air box . Also have two electrical connectors on each side. Comes off easy, weight is really not an issue.
As per the manual , I would get it. As he stated , it’s about 1mm thick, the spacer disintegrates with heat once the engine is running . I’m guessing it’s just to set the right gap since it’s just a...
Lol looks like we’re replacing the same parts. Got the same one. Also make sure to get the spacer, also sold on Amazon (PC339 crankshaft spacer). Fired right up, no issues. Also pretty sure you know...
Nice, keep us posted , I still haven’t heard nothing.
Did they charge your card yet ?
Agree.
Good work man, can’t wait to see the finished product .
Seller contradicts himself , first states possibility of mice then back peddles.

Got mine in the other day, let’s see how long it lasts.

Hey bro if that doesn’t pan out , I would call scharf. They ended up hooking me up with a brand new oem pump after all. I believe Todd said he had more in stock .
Got it. Don’t recommend their services to anyone but since I already vested all this time , I’m going to keep waiting and in the meantime just keep changing the ball joints, bushings, etc. Still...
Damn sucks to hear man. Not many pumps out there , and all from my research are used. Curious where your other pumps started leaking from ?
No negative , was told initially it would be a new oem stock pump but appears they only have used take offs as now. Going to order it anyways while I wait for the rebuilt.
Still waiting on this water pump to get “rebuilt”, but in case anyone one of you needs one , don scharf automotive carries them. Just ordered a new oem one.
Sent you a pm.
