Crashed my ACR - help appreciated in insurance claim

Hi all, sad to make this my first post but I recently crashed my '99 ACR and thought the community here would have some good advise and help me get a fair settlement. It is most likely going to be a write off. I will be getting my insurance company's first offer soon and am expecting to have to negotiate. My feeling for fair market value of an ACR is $45-55k - am I off here? You don't often see them trade hands so establishing a solid number isn't all that easy. If anyone has any data on Gen 2 ACR sales that they would like to share , that would be a huge help to me (PM me if you don't want to make it public).

    I appreciate any help, cheers.

They are ultra rare. $50k+. Do not accept less than $52-55k.

Thanks. On average, what do you think the premium is over a standard GTS?

    I will contact Jon, thanks.

Much may depend on your insurance contract. Hopefully, you have an agreed upon value. If not, it may be difficult to recoup an amount that you feel "it's worth" after the fact.

Agree that JonB is a great resource...hopefully things will work out satisfactorily for you.
I don't send or receive "PM's" since I prefer DIRECT communication.

We routinely have Dodge Viper's and other wrecked exotics towed to our shop; I work with ins. companies often. You may contact me at your convenience and I will enlighten you with some very good insight if you need on Monday.

Been through this with a Gen 2 acr. You really have to scour the Internet for past sales and for sale cars to prove it is a special car. Pending your mileage it could be near 60k if it is extremely low mile car. Hide the car from the insurance co. You seem to have leverage against them that way. Rob the wheels for some 5 spokes if you can. Good luck andi feel for you.

Damn...sorry to hear this. How many miles were on the car? That may help you to get into the right ballpark regarding value.
