British take on a Gen V Viper

TVR is making a comeback. Never drove one but always loved the looks and focus of the Sagaris. To me the new Griffith looks a bit Viperish and has a V8 and manual transmission. Don't think its coming here though.

2600 lbs dry, I dig it, but that is a face only a mother could love IMO.
I wonder how bad that exhaust is in the cab if it's opened up.

I'm liking the power to weight ratio ! And the simple power train lay out , looks low maintenance .

Funny, I always thought that the Viper was an American take on a TVR ! Not really; but, they sure did have similar design philosophies in the 90s. That is what attracted me to the Viper. The only affordable American car with the same type of exclusivity (low production), unique style, and great performance.

Love the Tuscan S and Sagaris looks wise. Having been in a few Sagaris's have to say they are small inside. In the passenger seat my knees were hard up on the dash.

This new TVR is not for me in the looks dept. Really do not like the front and the angled side in front of the door. interior looks very 80s too. Good to see TVR back but i'm not liking this model.

Low maintenance on a TVR! Now that's funny.
The old TVRs have a bad reputation for rusting chassis work which requires body off maintenance and were not the most reliable cars with engine glitches and body problems.

Actually, come to think of it a lot of Gen V owners have had issues!

The car looks great... however, that front end with those headlights looks so 2008ish, too much so for my taste! I bet it would be a fun drive!

That's the Tuscan S, in Swordfish. Great car. My mate had a TVR Cerbera, it was just as fast as the Viper but one day we were at a car show and he was cleaning the car, he wiped the headlight and the headlight just fell backwards into the car TVR had used silicone to seal the headlight to the front wing, I could not stop laughing.

/\ /\ Now that's funnay lolol....Out of all of them I really loved the Battle Ax of Blackpool...the Sagaris. I saw the Video of the green Sagaris with the song "Victory" playing in the background. Fell instantly in love with it. Love the outrageous design and always thought it was the British Viper.

The most extreme of them had to be the Cerbera Speed 12. Light and nasty in a straight line from what I read. Not the best in the turns though.

    EDIT: Here is the video
