Some beautiful bikes there guys....Ive been riding crotch rockets since my first, a 1985 FJ1100....32 years ago. I stopped racing in WERA in 2006 and retired as a coach from track days. However I was still riding them up until a month ago when I just decided that I wasn't having fun anymore as traffic keeps getting worse and drivers are playing on their phones more.

So I sold my CBR1000RR and bought this....

    bike 2.jpgimage1.jpgIMG_5477.jpg

A 2011 Vmax with some extensive modifications...doesn't handle quite the same as a crotch rocket, but its like a Viper, I can pull from any gear and still light up the rear. lol

I think Vmax's are a love hate thing...you either love them or hate them..no in between. lol My first love behind my Duc 998 is a gen 1 Vmax, so hope to add one soon.

I got out of the bike world about a year and a half ago...I got way too comfortable cruising at 100mph+ every where I went.

My favorite bike I had was a KTM RC8R, followed by a ridiculously fast ZX10R.

There are people who don't like VMax? Always in the LOVE category with me. I saw the Buell 1125R posted earlier. I had an '09 white/blue before my current Harley. Like 13Cobra just said, I got way too comfortable in triple digits. Opted to slow things down ...

Had kids and decided to sell my 04 big dog chopper a few years ago. 107” S&S Baker 6 speed and she lade waste in a straight line to anything short of a 1000 super bike. Did a couple of sturgis runs with it and I do miss my 2 wheel beast. I still have a 250 Harley dirt bike that I intend to build into an on road off road customs some day, but for now enjoying the viper. Great looking bikes all enjoy!
2010 ACR absolutely stock... well... kind of

Had a few bikes from mid 60's and on. The one I still have and ride is a 1958 basket case I built 30 years ago. Matchless G80S.

When that bike first came out in the UK, one was sent to Dave Degan of Dresda Motorcycles, he had a workshop near Heathrow Airport on the old Bath road (A4).
My Late friend John was a freelance motorcycle journalist. I drove him to Dave Degans place where he picked up the new CBX Cafe racer, if I remember it was 1978 and the weather that evening was pouring rain, John picked up the bike and drove it back through london to Crystal palace. The bike was featured in a lot of uk magazines. I was 20 at the time (i think) Now I've got to go up into the loft and dig out the magazine!
    Only Pic I could find....
