Cobra, air jacks are great. With some practice you can swap all 4 wheels in say 10 minutes.

I've got the Krontec system and I think they were the Comp Coupe supplier. There are a few other brands too. Porsche guys use 3 cannisers, Viper's need 4.

Cobra, mine came with the car. Option on the comp coupes but I'd bet all CC's have air jacks.

Dodge used Krontec. AP is another popular brand. Figure about about $2-$3k in parts (4 jacks, various lines, a couple of valves and the lance).

Here's a good re-seller in the UK that carries both. Prices are good and shipping to the US is very reasonable.

Mine on the Comp Coupe are AP, absolutely love them. Like Mike said, tire swaps in 10 minutes. Great for brakes, suspension adjustments.

Red...The Pneumatic Jack system that was an option on the CC adds
a lot of extra weight. Not all CC have the Pneumatic Jack Systems. Ask Bob Woodhouse.
The only time this type of system is even feasible is
    if you enter an enduro.

Thanks Frank. Interesting, there are 6 Comp Coupes around here including mine, all have Air Jacks. Don't know that I've ever seen a CC without them?

BTW, mine spent its first 10 years in the UK. Ran all sorts of events including endurance races. Came with the Air Jacks, Center Lock Wheels, Dual Dry Break fueling system, Close Ratio EMCO Sequential and the Brembo 6 piston endurance calipers that hold the thickest brake pads I've ever seen!!

For aftermarket, you can get it down to about 22 lbs total from my research 4-5 lbs a jack, plus the air lines etc. And at least the weight is down fairly low. but also adding 11 lbs way up front I don't like. I want these bad would save me a lot of work with tire warmers, but holding off for now just because of the weight.

11 pounds vs jacking the car with conventional jack ????? no brainier it wont effect your performance and think of it on the plus side more time to relax

I have them in my Cup car and its the best invention known to racing when it comes to fast service at the track. Tip ALWAYS have safety collars on

Lots of ways to loose some of the 11 lbs fast if its that much of a concern

You can use the 3' or so tanks not the giant ones . I have 2 of the smaller ones . I use just about one smaller one per race weekend and have 1 as spare . I have electric torque guns as well so no draw by those.
The big tanks do last a long time though. I know guys that get a whole season out of 1

Min # for lifting is based on the type jack you get and weight of car .

300 psi for me as well. Each manufacturer may have a different requirement. I use a small 57lb aluminum tank and get 10-15 lifts out of a full tank.

Carl, I’m using something similar to Tom About 30 in tall and less than 30 lbs.

$150 filled new, refill for $25.00

But, if I had your enclosed trailer I’d get the big steel tank and 20 feet of line.

My trailer is only 7500 lb total weight. The trailers 3100 new, now more with all the shit i added. Car and gear put close to the 7500 max. I should have stepped up and got a 10K trailer to begin with.
