Tko motorsports street viper gt3r car 1 build progress

Dont think we have posted an update in 30 days or so. So we figured Friday is a good viper porn dayAttachment 41969Attachment 41970

EFI system and wire harness are done mounted and in place. Attachment 41971

We built and electronic adjustable tilton pedal assembly ( you can kinda see in the pics) so just like a normal viper press a button and move the pedals assembly; But with the tilton we get driver adjust brake bias adjust and the option to change pedal ratios and hydraulic volume vs pressure. We also decided to build a tilt steering with electronic telescopic and quick ratio adjust. Press a button steering wheel moves in and out 3 inches. We added this feature because we have found with driver changes in the pits the driver sometimes wouldnt set the wheel in the correct position and once the driver is strapped in he couldnt adjust. This would lead to the driver having to shuffle steer ,which in turn would lead to driver fatigue and poor lap times.

The back of the viper pics shows our oil tank and cooling systems. Since this viper GT3R will be driven on the street and track cooling is one of the biggest engineering problems to over come. We cool every fluid in the car so no matter how hot the day is or how bad the traffic is your stuck in getting to the track this viper will never over heat.

Nice to see fab work where the whole tube is polished and not just the node intersect

I'm surprised actually. I'd would have thought moving ~200lbs to the rear would have helped get a little more weight on the rear and a little less on the front. I also was thinking it would help open up the petal box just a bit. I always though in Gen5 they would have had a DCT option but they never did. There is no denying the benefits of DCT vs Manual. I remember Ralph G talking about the possibly putting in an auto later in the G5 refresh. Any idea what trans they would have used?

That's ballsy to drive it on the street.
