    Castrol Relations about Castrol SRF

I'm looking for some Castrol SRF b/c im out. After scouring the interwebs, I was left empty handed. So I wrote to Castrol and this is their response.

Thank you for contacting Castrol North America.

Due to a global shortage of a proprietary Castrol silicone ester, until further notice Castrol SRF Brake Fluid will no longer be available.
Castrol currently does not have an equivalent or replacement for the Castrol SRF Brake Fluid.
Thank you again for contacting Castrol, we value your patronage!

Well Crap! So pass it along to anyone with the same broken heart.

Next question. Can I mix Motul 660 into my existing SRF, or should I go ahead with the complete flush and fill of the Motul?

Yeah this started months ago, supply is finally drying up. You can mix it, but may as well just flush and start with all Motul so you can compare how you like it versus the SRF. You'll have to bleed much more frequently with the Motul, especially if you are running slicks on track.

Well all I know is the SRF. I do a couple of HPDE events a year and street drive my car mostly. What fluid would you recommend?

You'll be fine with the motul. Just always bleed before each event.

I would suggest PFC 665 fluid. Its the best fluid we have used to date that you can buy off the shelf. We always have couple cases in stock.
