I daily a 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie. I used to drive 40 miles a day just to get to work and back, but my new place is only 2 miles round trip. I like the Ram, and even though it’s a “low spec” for a Laramie, it’s very nice and I do enjoy it. It killed it this winter too. We got over a foot of snow on 2 different occasions here in SE Wisconsin and it was great for the bad weather with the 4WD. Part of me says to sell it now and get a beater but on the other hand it is great.

Nice truck - if you really like it - keep it! The great thing about capable trucks is they can last a long time, and for some strange reason "they never get old" - I still have my 2002 F250 and I like it as much now as when I got it almost 20 years ago. You can always get a beater too, which is not a bad thing if you live up north where the winters are tough on vehicles...

The Porsche does most of the lifting.
The Viper does all of the HEAVY LIFTING.

Raptor for work. Volvo V90R wagon daily. Volvos are nice and I think overlooked by many(just not on the auto radar?). Don't know how much I'll drive the Volvo this summer as I just p/u a new GT500 and it will give the Viper a run for the money.

Currently, I daily a 2015 BMW 320d xDrive wagon in estoril blue, which is perfect for here all year around (company car).

Next to the Viper, I've been looking at something fast and special which also offers space for my wife and my little boy for weekend getaways. I have a soft spot for wagons, so a CTS-V like above was high up on my list (since I live in Switzerland, I'm really not into another German car, as they are everywhere I look and just too ordinary, if I may say so). Literally two weeks ago, a rare manual CTS-V (same color as above, a 2011 model) was bought under my nose a day before I had the chance to go look at it at a dealership. Frustrated, as they hardly come up for sale here in Switzerland (we probably have like 5 or so in the country I guess ) I went to the next thing on my mind and ended up buying it instantly. Awaiting delivery of a 2017 Shelby GT350 in a few days. The Shelby GT350 was never officially sold here, so it's an import and is currently being worked at to pass Swiss road registration. I was literally blown away by the sound and how it handles; so much fun! My dad has a 5.0 Mustang convertible, but that's not even close in terms of how it drives compared to the Shelby, so I'm looking forward to mountain road blasts.

As my company car is due to being replaced in a year or so, I'd actually really like to get a RAM. However, with our narrow streets, I'm not sure I'd do myself a big favor... :-/

I put an order in for a new daily driver yesterday! 2021 Jeep Wrangler Willys, every option I wanted. They are actually giving me more than I paid brand new for my 20' Ram 1500 Laramie, so it was the perfect time to order something new. As of 5/7/21, they opened 3 new options for MY21 wranglers; Doos off Mirror kit, Gorilla Glass, adn a limited time color "Gecko". I ordered all three of those new options I like my Ram a lot but I can always go back and get another. The market is too good right now IMO to keep the truck. This will be my first custom ordered vehicle for me, which is something I have wanted to do for a long time!

2020 Mercedes - Benz S560 4Matic. Crazy car -- ordered with every option except for electronically heated windshield and the two that take up space in the trunk (rear console refrigerator and the upgraded stereo). I bought it five months old with 1100 miles on it, so the person who got beaten senseless on depreciation was someone other than me.

Mine was a 2013 Audi S5 with a handful of upgrades, but that was totaled about 2 months ago when someone pulled out in front of me.

    k9x5Pkr.jpg

I replaced that with the Viper, so now the rainy-day daily is my Cobalt SS. I actually finished assembling the engine a couple weeks before the Audi was wrecked, then finished installing it with a transmission swap about a week after the wreck.

It has a Precision HP5557E on it, pushing 20 psi with E85 - should be around 400 whp or so. I was going to swap out the nearly maxed out 80# injectors for some ID1050's and push 25-30 psi, but then I bought the Viper. I'd rather keep the Cobalt a bit more tame and streetable. Might end up swapping the Cobalt to a smaller turbo to be more peppy and fun... maybe put that 55mm turbo on my 2100 lbs Volkswagen.

2018 Jeep GC SRT. Really great truck but had been looking to grab a 2021 Trackhawk to dial up the craziness a bit.

After much pondering, and watching way too many YouTube videos, I scrapped the TH idea and recently ordered a 2022 TRX. I realized that the roads are so shitty around us, and constantly under construction, that 30 inches of travel AND 700+hp is the only solution Should be here by year end hopefully.

Even though I stated above that I did not want another German car, I ended up buying a special edition BMW X5 45e a few weeks ago. Why? Just look at it! Green over tan won me over, and the malachite green is very rare. In addition to the carbon fiber trim inside, this one rocks the performance seats from the X5 M - a feature no one seems to order in "ordinary" X5s. So, after accepting the facts that I'm getting older, that I indeed DO LIKE things like Head-Up display in my daily driver, and because our streets are just too narrow for a RAM to easily drive and park wherever I go, the decision was made on the spot. THIS. IS. IT! And I love every mile in it.
