    That's a very good time.

When the ACR-X's ran there in 2012 in the Viper Cup races, 2:15's were seen. Keating dipped into the 2:13's. Unlimited Comp Coupes were in the 2:12's.

He's definitely hustling around RA. Cool to see the telemetry in certain areas of the track, too.

So, do we know track schedules? I started doing Viper Days as an HPDE guy back in 2003. I'm running TT in NASA now but didn't get my comp lic this year due to car in the shop. I'm wondering how much track time I might see either TT or HPDE type stuff. It's a long ass tow but I'd love to see this and those I know virtually or real again.

Looks like this is the track time schedule. Russ sent this a couple months ago:

"there are (2) thirty five minute practice sessions on Friday, Aug. 27. Then, on both Saturday and Sunday, there is a 15 minute qualifying session for racers and a 25 minute race plus another 25 minute session for the time trial participants"

Not much track time at all, but we aren't the main attraction at this event. I think it will be worth it just to see everyone again and have some fun!

It's actually a lot of *time* just not a lot of sessions. 35 minutes isn't any better than 10 minutes to get a good time as you just get slower by then. If my car doesn't get slower I sure do. Especially in that Atlanta humidity.
With so little time to get a good time, all us TT guys need to work together and try to grid by times and keep an eye in your mirrors. Nothing kills your time more than having to pass or having a guy in your mirror.
I bit the bullet and spent the $1800 for practice on Wednesday just to make sure i wouldn't be holding people up being brand new to the track on Friday. BTW Bob is wanting to make the Friday sessions count for time too.

Lots of places to pass and get out of the way at Road America so that's a plus. And it's a long track.
