Steering wheel question

Is it possible to change out these two parts on the steering wheeel?

Or can I get this piece in a trade out as mine is chrome?

The inner one not overly easy, but can be done. The outer ring, no. The ring is a permanent part of the bag cover, the Stryker is an aluminum piece held on with locating tabs.

You could buy one (airbag) with a different ring and install the alt logo.. itll be a pricey change.

The center emblem is stamped aluminum, with flat "finger" flanges that slide into slots in the airbag cover. The fingers are bent parallel to the face. If you pry in it, the fingers will bend straight perpendicular to the face and possibly warp the face. If you do this, you won't be able to get it back on without removing the bag cover because you wont be able to bend the tabs inside.
If you remove the cover, you can do the swap, it's not so easy, there are plastic wedges at the tabs that are not easy to re-secure once you pull it all apart. I removed the center emblem on mine thinking I would adhere a Gen4 emblem. In the end I just replaced the aluminum piece and put a 2x2" Gen4 sticker over it.

That looks to be the whole airbag for the driver's side. If so, that price does seem reasonable.
