    GYMR Kick off Event

Get-Your-Motor-Runnin will take place on March 6, 2021 starting at 8am at the home of Brian Kennedy in Wake Forest. In the interest of the safety of all those that will be attending, we are requiring face coverings when working in the garage and when social distancing cannot be maintained. We hope everyone understands our concerns and will support us in this.

To assist us with planning please complete this form. The form needs completed by February 26 as it also registers you for the event.

Al Humphries from Capital CJDR in Garner will have a parts van on site stocked with the appropriate OEM oil filters, differential, clutch, transmission, and brake fluids discounted for us and available for purchase. The only item you need to bring is your choice of motor oil! I believe most are running the Mobil 1 0-40W formula these days. Below are the estimated oil fill capacities for the various generations (rounded up to the nearest quart):

    1992-2002 - 9 quarts
    2003-2017 - 11 quarts
Of course it never hurts to buy an extra quart!

We will have 2 lifts available to perform oil, differential, clutch, transmission, and brake fluid changes (time permitting). If you're not a maintenance guru and never have performed your own service, that's okay! We have plenty of experience on hand to help, and you can learn a lot about your Viper! If you don't have maintenance needs, that's okay.....just come and hang out!

We will be providing lunch at Brian's and then clean up.

Great small event, awesome cars and a HUGE dose of hospitality from Brian. Wish I could have stayed longer, but one 2.5hr trip at 33deg in the Gen 1 was enough!

Grateful for all the help and for everyone bringing there awesome cars to admire.

Looking forward to the next gathering

Awesome event as always. Big thanks to Al and Vinnie at Capital CJDR for all the help with new fluids and filters and also providing the new "Big Bertha" once again. We just about filled that oil tank up! The guys from Southern Integrity were very kind to provide lunch and it was fun to get to know them. They are THE company to use for transporting your Viper. Have to repeat what's been said about our gracious hosts, Brian and Janelle -- you all are the best and thank you for hosting yet another fun GYMR event!

Thanks everyone, it's always fun to host this event....and the more Vipers, the better. I echo Craig's comments thanking Capital Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM in Garner, NC for supplying a parts van and taking our used fluids. You guys have been there for YEARS and we appreciate it. Andrew and Ben at Southern Integrity Transport are just cool car guys and very grateful for sponsoring our lunch. Good times, good friends.
