Tire Size for Gen V Wheels on a Gen IV

Hey guys, first post here, have a question I was hoping you guys could answer. I have a black 08 roadster lowered on KW coil overs. I recently bought some gen v five spoke Rattlers. Wonder what tire size and brand you’re recommend? Should I run a spacer in the rear? Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably didn't read when registering. I've seen it a few times here recently. If he didn't use his proper information to register he would be banned.

But to answer his question I have gen V rattlers on my gen III with 355/30 rears and 295/30 fronts. honestly I think I could get 295/35's on the front to fill some of the gap.

When I went from 285/35-18 to a 295/30-18 front tire, I definitely had to lower the front to take up the enormous wheel gap that was left.

Anyone run 305's up front on 18's? How'd you like it?

I did on a set of sidewinders, R888R 35 series. I was on stock non adjustable shocks and needed to raise the front a little to clear road hazzards, was scraping everywhere. No rubbing on the body. Coincidentally, I swapped in R888R 295 on 19's and now they rub a little on the hard turns.

OP, I think some.folks run the 345 in other brands that though labeled smaller are just as wide as other 355's.

Were they different brands? Those sizes are almost identical in diameter with the 295/30-19 being just a hair larger.

Wow...that was a major typo. I meant to write 295/30-18, so I essentially went from a 26" diameter tire to a 25" diameter tire. I've since edited my post to reflect the correct numbers.

    Good catch.

Thank you for the input, Bart.

I run R888R 295's up front and 345's in back. I'm usually good driving them to the track and during but I do run Moton's in all four corners that make my ride a lot of fun.
