2003 OEM rims 10 spoke vs SideWinder II offset

    Hi folks,
I know this will be a no brainer for some of you.
I have installed some BC coilers, increased the compression and have gone only slightly lower than stock ride height. I got an alignment done and everything checks out. However, I'm still getting slight inner wheel liner rubbing.
Therefore I was thinking maybe it is because I'm running Gen V SideWinder II rims and tires instead of the stock Gen III OEM setup. Would anyone know if the offsets are different of these two setups? If they are different would it be enough to create this minor rubbing? It isn't major rubbing and I can live with it but now i just want to find the cause....just because
    Thanks in advance

Rubbing in the front, rear, or both?

From what I remember, the fronts sit out further, but the rears should be about the same.

Rear fender liner rubbing is a known issue when lowering a Gen 3/4 Viper.

GEN V front rims are .5 in. wider then the GEN III rims. So if the rubbing is up frpont, chances are thats the culprit.

Sorry should have clarified that, the rubbing is only in the rear. Front is no issue.

Steve M makes a good point. When I lowered my car 1.25 inches, I tore into the rear liner on bumps or tracking.
Where in Ontario are you located ???

What exact tire size and brand is at the rear? You must be lowered more than a little.... I see you are on SW2, most came with 355 CORSA but not forever.

to clarify, SW2 Fronts are +20mm offset vs G3-4 OE

Hey Jon not surprised you have the exact offset .
Pirelli P Zero which I think were stock Gen V issue 355/30. I installed the coil overs last year and I think I originally was like J TNT a 1.25" lower but raised it and I "think" I'm now only 3/4" lower than OEM height. As I said I'm not too concerned but just more annoyed as other don't have that issue.
