Well this will be the measuring stick for my car. I’m bone stock and have no stories. 500 miles more than the car that is listed.

I'm going to guess the car goes for $125k.

    I’ll buy it at 125

I think will end up around 140

Three owners hurts a little but the mileage is decent. I wonder how that compares to my one owner but 21k miles. Either way is this the first white TA to cross BaT? And I LOL a little at the ‘never been raced’ comment, that’s too hard to verify when the car has changed hands twice already.

Not many better looking cars than a white TA.

Yep, that's also when owners were afraid to start them for fear of a catastrophic engine failure and buyers were running for the hills!

I'm not sure why a TA would be selling for more than a loaded GTS?

  16. #16
6 vent hood, aero and race suspension, hardcore track oriented (before acre), and I think limited number production (already low volume car to begin with though)? But yes there's some reverse hierarchy going on. The GTS was the most expensive at the time but with the least desirable 2 vent hood. The order should've been SRT->GTS->TA imo

Performance package Vipers have always sold more than GT Viper__ likely more demand v. Supply as performance is usually the basic Viper demographic orientation. ACR prices have ballooned and TA prices are following…. GTS/SRTs are hidden value now but i suspect will be the next to rise following as the TAs head closer to $200k

FCA was trying to appeal to cross-shoppers of more luxury brands with the GTS, which wasn't the strongest and traditional demographic as mentioned. Dealers initially loaded up inventory of highly optioned GTS Vipers, which turned out to be a big mistake. It took years to sell them, many at hugely discounted prices, all of which hurt their new and resale values. The GTS is fantastic model, and might have been worth more now than TA's if they had only built 159 of the GTS and hundreds of TA's instead...supply and demand!

A rising tide lifts all boats. Have you noticed how the skyrocketing TA prices are also pushing up the values of the ACR?

the sticker on my gts is $143k, pretty much fully loaded, including the 6 vent hood. bought it for $76k with 9k miles. Are these cars really selling at these high prices? this is crazy. what's more crazy is i won't sell mine lol

That price almost seems funny now. You can’t get shit for 70’s.
I’m with ya man. Not selling.

You got a heck of a deal considering its a GTS without the undesirable 2 vent.

Bought my 2015 GT for 75, with 4500 miles in 2018. Thought I stole it, might be true. Upgraded the 12 speaker stereo to 18 and added OEM TA aero. Probably in it for 80 total. I often wonder what it’s worth, but it isn’t for sale. I’ll buy another before I let this one go. My 93 RT10 is another story, bought it cheap, but am finding out why. Anyway, I feel good about saving/ preserving one.

I got my 2013 Track pack with 10K miles on it in 2015 for $62K from a local Bentley dealer. Gen 5's were (still are???) the greatest performance bargain of all time during that period. 650 naturally aspirated horsepower, 48/52% rear weight bias distribution, carbon fiber body, widest contact patch of any car ever sold in the world, Bosch professional motorsports level ABS/traction control, on and on.....
