Another red 2015 on Bring A Trailer

They are coming out of the woodwork! LOL.
A "high miler" at 30K, let's see what she does! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...e-srt-viper-8/
    Good luck to seller!

Same. Just ticked over 28k on mine so curious how this one does. Not that I’ll ever sell.

$121 - nice spec but no area, TA, or carbon packages. Nice color!

This should be an interesting sale. 30k on the clock and 5 owners.

That mileage is nothing for these excellent machines.. 5 owners.. maybe not as ideal.

I don’t know why anyone cares about the number of owners. Most times it’s changing hands between dealers anyway.

maintenance and pride of owner/care tends to slip the farther you get from the original owner. proportionally less important as the car becomes 50 60years old.. but for contemporary. more so.

I would agree with that regarding cheaper cars but cars this price point usually don't have the same neglected maintenance and loss of pride.

I can think of plenty of first owners that absolutely suck at maintaining a vehicle. 1 or 5 means no difference to me. Especially if it’s just changing hands of car dealers.

Maybe a little different if it’s a one owner and like 30 years old or something extraordinarily rare.

  14. #14
I think if it has service records and the current owner (the seller) keeps it clean and takes care of it then it'll be fine because they probably took care of any mistakes/ damages done by previous owners.. but that's just me

Is it odd that the seats are brown/tan but nothing else in the interior is? Or is that normal?

As I recall a GTC standard interior could be chosen with black, tan or red seats. Seats only. To have more an inteior upgrade was required.

You could get just the seats in red or tan on SRT models too…to me it looks strange without at least the door panels and console matching.

Black, Demonic red or Sepia seats were a no-cost option on SRT and GT.
My black GTC 1 of 1 was ordered with the Demonic red seats, which came with red piping on the floor mats. Red seat belts were a $350 option.
I added the matching red shifter ball

I love that. I got my last car with a black interior and red seats. I love just the seats being red. I had to get the base model and add the carbon interior and other stuff I wanted on the car because higher trim levels added other bits and pieces on the dash in red. Pain in the butt but it looks way better than having other parts red as well.

    Wow, this looks great!!!

Much better than the C7 photo below yours. It just looks much higher end, which I really did not appreciate fully until seeing the two pics next to one another. The C7 is clearly trying too hard with way too much going on in the cockpit and the design of the seats nowhere near as good looking as the Gen v's (and I loved my C7 Z06, so I'm not throwing shade on the car overall).

Seriously! Ridiculous that a 6 year old car with 30K is considered high mileage. Too many garage queens out there concerned with retention of value rather than value of use.

Your car is changing my mind on the red seats only thing, looks sweet. Viper Exchange had an SRT for sale with the same interior back in 2018 when I was shopping for a car. That’s where I first saw one that way.

My favorite is still red seats with the red lower half of the door panel and the rear of the console also in red.
