PartsRack Closed Til Oct 12 GONE RACIN

Doris and I have been privileged the past few years to be the pace-car-team for Trans-Am and SVRA when they come to town. We got 'promoted" this year to some of the west-coast series, not just Portland.

The older I get, the more I feel the need to accept these 'working junkets' when offered by various sanctioning bodies. So PartsRack is closed from Thurs 10/7 til Tuesday 10/12. I might read some emails to JonB@PartsRack.com.

We will be providing TransAm and SVRA the Pace Car Team for Utah M/S Park (formerly Miller M/S, site of VOI-11) Any Viper Owners going to those races near Salt Lake, please say hello.

    Have a great weekend!

Enjoy, Jon. You have a very important job and you're perfect for it; you'll look after everyone.

Its too bad that you may be too busy to be able to watch some racing. SVRA Group 6 is my favourite series to watch. The cars look fantastic. There are plenty of fender to fender bouts (with almost no contact). Some locked up wheels resulting in missed corners. Lots of tail wag on corner exits as there's more motor than tire. And the sound of all those small displacement, high compression, high revving V8's is magic.

    Thanks guys, back at office.

AZ, I used the pace-car all-access pass, did not need a golf cart. Yours spoiled me anyway.

We drove 1777 miles round trip on brand-new Conti tires. NO rut-tracking, no audible tire noise above headers/exhaust. Torrential rain events no big deal, stayed at posted 80 mph posted speeds ID / UT. Snow flurries in OR at 4000' 31-degrees slowed to 60-65 in passes. Excellent, nimble handling for pace-car speeds, 45-90 on track. Doris drove 90% due to my recent toe-surgery. FUN Week!

SVRA and TransAm have asked us to add Fontana this year and more races next year.....might have to take more 'working vacations"

Thanks for your business and patience.
