    Oil under Intake

Notice slight pooling of oil as I look thru the intake.

Pooled on top and front of the engine.

    Thoughts?

That or PCV grommet or hose. It's right up there and they don't last forever.

My bet is also the CCV gromet and/or hose. Valve cover gaskets would be obvious if it was leaking enough to get to the valley.

I'm betting on the PCV grommet, as well. I have the same issue and I'm pretty sure that's my problem. I already have the replacement part, but need to get new I/M gaskets and figure out if there's anything else that I need/want to do while the I/M is off the car.

You can see it in posts 17 and 22; the black grommet next to the thermostat housing: https://driveviper.com/forums/thread...-bleeder-screw

Check all intake manifold hex screws for correct torque and Valve cover hex screws, clean up area with Spray brake cleaner and keep an eye on it. It will be easier to spot once you have cleaned everything up and know what to look for

    This ^^

Make sure to get brake cleaner that doesn't suck. CRC Brakleen extra strength formula (Green can) or similar equivalent.

Yes sir! The valve covers were very loose back in April. Torqued to 95 FT/LB. This is a new leak.

Scott at prefix has some new ones.

I got tired of replacing that grommet, and milled this up to take it's place. Mine goes to a catch can. PCV is still in place, just out of the last shot.

I could make a run of some, but I am not a vendor on this site, and don't want to get the boot. Also I don't think the very small profit I would make would even cover a vendor fee.

Nice work; I would be interested in one, as well.

I've got the 3D printer for rapid prototyping, but don't have a way to actually make rugged parts yet. Would love to get a mill and/or lathe.
