The VOA President held the first Operations meeting on 18 January (corrected) 2022 starting at 8pm, the following topics were discussed:

Purpose:
- To explore VOA’s daily, monthly, and yearly Operational Tempo
- To understand our operations and define the goals needed to achieve optimal coordination resulting in synchronized efforts
- To understand the limitations of our ability to act, react, recommend change, and execute the planned change over time

Today’s Agenda:
- What is Club Operations?
- What are our 2021 deliverables that were not delivered?
- Where are we with 2022 Budget Balance initiatives?
- What are we not doing that we should be doing better?

End-State:
- What do we need to bring to the BoD’s attention for a decision and way forward?
- What do we need to bring to the BoD’s attention for a vote?

Sleep is for the weak... this has been an enjoyable challenge to talk actual dollars and not $M or $B.

I need to have a better understanding how that number is generated. Another thing I have to do... I believe this number includes 20 members who are lifetime members - these are the Spirit of Viper x 16, the Presidents x 3, and 1 Contest Winner that do not generate funds for the club. We account for them as an expense against the club assets in our balance sheet. This year they are at a cost of $50.50 each (lifetime membership cards to be issued) and next year at about $35 each for their 4 magazines shipped.

I use the numbers based on our Authorized.net report, it's a few days behind where we are at for people who have paid, and their CC have cleared! So, it's a few days behind what the homepage is telling us. So, tonight I would expect about 6-10 new joins and then I update my charts at 1am.

So, I am currently coming in at 969 (lol, corrected from 696 a freeway I traveled many a time down in MI going to a Pine knob concert and to Mt Holly to ski) free and cleared members and I need to see about 31 more hit that report!

Alright the 1000 number revealed.

I was having troubles reconciling 11 members against my reports. It has now come to our attention that 11 members that signed up in late September 2021 were brought forward as 2022 members. Since we were pulling our reports from 1 October 2021 forward we were not seeing these 11 ghost member records... for those that did time in Iraq, you can appreciate the inference to "Ghost Members" compared to "Ghost Soldiers" from the good old days!

I can officially say we are now at 1003 Members in the VOA as the counter implies! We added 3 more members at 1:00 am last night!
