Cant believe you're letting her go. I have always thought your GEN V was special. I remember when you got her, when the engine issues happened, to having Mark Trostle help designing your color scheme. Either way, GLWS and hopefully the next owner appreciates what they are getting.

Thanks for the kind words. I remember you and all the old guys on the VCA boards, in the early heady days of the G5, which we all carried over to the VOA.

I agree that it is special, but all that is in the eye of the beholder... it was also the precursor for Prefix's one of one program. If it doesn't sell at a fair price, my family can decide what to do with it when I croak. After 9 years and in my 70's, I felt it time to move. See ya in the fast lane, Roy.

I think it looks awesome and nicely modified. Only thing I'd like would be the 6 vent hood but that paint scheme looks great and the colors and accents really make the car pop. I'd rock it.

Me too but 66k isn't even 50 pennies on the dollar of original msrp. Glad I traded mine for the SE ACR-E.

Gone, but not forgotten...$137K. Felt it was a fair price, and went to a Viper owner, who will treat her well.

I think it had a lot more to do with how customized it was. Probably not as broad appealing as stock appearance. I've seen stock 13s go for much more.

Btw, you're a real hater, aren't you? It seems like every Viper other than yours is a piece of shit, not a real whatever, not collectable, etc.

This is true almost without exception. I love the idea of modding cars, but then I always wonder how easily I can return the car to stock because of this reason. I always keep all of the OEM parts to add back and then I sell the aftermarket pieces separately. For me, it's usually been wheels/tires. With the Gen V I find it incredibly difficult to improve on the stock look. Good luck to the OP with his next pursuit.
