Carbon Fiber rear diffuser with strakes

They’ll take a mold of it so it would be factory fitment.
Looks like it will be at least 6 months out before they could make this.
The more that will buy this, the cheaper it will be. The expensive is on making the mold for the first time.

Ask them about making a carbon fiber grille. I'm sure that would sell big time. Depending on price I'd probably buy two grilles.

If its from vividracing, they are a nightmare to work with

As Mikey said, the experience with Vivid was horrendous.
I paid for a part and was told lies after lies for over 7 months and no one could give me an honest answer to finally be told they no longer make the part. And their site says they make their CF parts but they don’t.

Would be great to have it finished in an OE-style carbon twill.

I would venture to suggest making the part with nutserts molded into the part & allow the diffuser stakes to be a replaceable item.

That way you could leave them off, or run a tall/short as-determined by the customer.

However, it does look slick with them molded in.

I don't anticipate any weight savings, as this winds up being purely a styling part for most customers.

Yes, this part originally is 2 pieces and VC said they would do it in 2 pieces.
I suggested making the 2 pieces look seemless like the pic because I also like the way the strakes look molded in.

I also looked at this years ago and after talking to Vivid Racing I quickly realized those guys were a joke and their carbon was coming from China. Upgraded all my carbon from Extreme in FLA and the quality is OEM or better. Oddly enough, Vivid accidently shipped me their carbon rear brake ducts and I was able to compare the quality vs. Extreme. Vivid's carbon was very thin, the twill weave was not uniform, and the clear was pitted. So basically CRAP. I called them up and let them know I got these and wanted to return them since I never ordered and the guy was completely confused. I was happy to send that junk back to them.

Unfortunately, Extreme didn't make the rear diffuser so it's the last piece I would want. So yes, I would be interested as long as it's not crazy expensive. It would also give me an excuse to get the Ipsco rear tow hook setup to install while the diffuser is off the car.

I thought about having extreme do the Ta 1.0 spoiler and the brake vents. Is it really up to OEM quality? I’ve seen those OEM rear brake vents and they looks pretty damn incredible. Even in the sun the weave looks flawless. Got any pics of yours, I may just order some.

They are absolutely OEM quality. You will not be disappointed and if for any reason you are their customer service is great. I replaced the stock pieces with the carbon front brake ducts, rear brake ducts, hood bezels (and then made my own screen for them), and rear taillight applique. Order with confidence.
