Doug--sorry if i missed it somewhere in the product description but is it going to come with any sort of rubber lining on the edges so that it seals against our carbon fiber hoods without scratching?

The shield does not seal against the hood by design and has clearance to avoid contact. Since there is no real way to seal up everything there wouldn't be a huge benefit to having the seal plus this allows Gen IV and V to all work with the same design, reducing the cost.
