The end is in sight for getting my baby back on the road. Details and pics coming soon.
Great thread. Looking forward to updates. How much was the wing before paint?
I can't remember honestly, but pricing is available right off the Autoform website.
Super stoked about your build-- stupid question, but how much power did it make?
It only made around 630 at the wheels with an essentially stock engine at 6 PSI. I made some extremely poor decisions on component sourcing/upgrades earlier on which I described a bit earlier in this thread.
Note to to anyone considering upgrades: Be patient and do your homework!!! Go to a reputable shop that specializes in Vipers!!!!!!!
JTSVP is correcting those issues that I created earlier on and now it has built engine going in soon. We'll see how much boost we can actually get out of that blower now! I have no idea what to expect honestly, but it's going to be fun.
630rwhp @ 6#..It was tuned at the ragged edge and let go. I think I mentioned that a year or so ago. Good luck with the rebuild and enjoy it once it's done.

Updates coming soon, it’s alive!
You certainly don’t need to go to any viper shop. You just need to not go to a hack.
She’s back home and absolutely awesome, I couldn’t be happier. Now for some more Autoform love.
You posted on 7/17 that "the end is in site"
It's now 10/20 that your car is back home.
It took Three years to get the work done?
Just wondering.

First time seeing this, and it's obvious you wanted the look, versus power, which is perfectly fine. I side with power, and always go TT. Not a fan of that whiny sound in the first vid. Always build the motor first!

baby Billy P!
Well...you did it a bit better than my GEN-II with the Whipple 4.0 sticking up through my hood (custom manifold and induction system on GEN-IV heads). At 17 PSI boost at 2/3 throttle it detonated and blew the blower and manifold right off....oh well, learned a lot, spent a lot, had a lot of fun. Now back to NA and just enjoy driving a reliable Snake again. I do love your concept and the fact you did it!!
