My Gen 3 twin screw install

Well, it's finally happening, after years of waiting the hood is getting cut this week!image.jpg

I have been looking quite a bit and I'm not sure anyone's ever done this before.......I'll upload some pictures as the install progresses over the next week or so. If anyone out there has gone the twin screw route on a Gen 3 I'd love to hear from you!

How big is your twin screw ? I know someone mentioned you need 3.6 litre or bigger for air volume on the V-10 . FWIW

I am using the Roe system for the SRT Ram. It will require the cross car beam being modified for the pulley and belt clearance. We are using the Roe water/meth system with it as well. If I'm not mistaken it's a 3.4l. It will run on the Roe stock pulley low boost until the bottom end is upgraded in the fall. Heads, cam and full belanger exhaust system has already been installed, as well as a few other items.

Are you planning to put a hood scoop on your car to accommodate the blower?

I'm not planning on a hood scoop, just letting it all hang out-plus I'm a little worried about the field of view impact as it is. I will be keeping a rain sock handy....

Those ROE trucks have sick low end torque.

On a car that weighs 2,000 lbs less.... that's going to be a handful!

    Have fun and be safe!

If you wouldn't mind, please take lots of pictures as you go through the build- step by step.

I have the same blower kit on my SRT 10 Ram. It's a pretty straight forward install and the Whipple blower is the 3.4L. Sean did use another blower that was a 3.3L on the older kits (Lysholm).

I don't see a spot for the MAP sensor on the lower intake, I would mod it before you complete the install.

Two things... 1. You're going to put this all together now just to pull it back apart in a couple months??? 2. Nobody I know has had any luck with a Roe set-up on a stock Gen3 bottom end!! Build the bottom end now and save yourself the aggravation of possibly creating a window in your block. I think this could be a sweet build I just don't want to see you regret it by putting the cart before the horse, if you're planning on doing the bottom end anyways then don't rush it and create the risk. GOOD LUCK!!!

I have 35K miles on my 5lbs Roe Srt 10 Ram on the stock bottom end and the trucks way a ton more vs the Vipers. Most people like to try to push the tune for a little more and that's where the issue lies. Get a good safe tune and you'll be fine at 5psi.

Nice should be a interesting build! the reason as I understand it is, the roe gen 3 didn't work was because of hood clearance and if Sammy is cutting the hood and using the truck intake and intake manifold should have more than enough volume. here is my stock block Paxton for comparison for you .

Will do! The fella doing the body work to the hood told me he'll have to put aluminum rails on the inside of the hood, on both sides of the opening-so it doesn't snap in half the first time it gets shut.
