Less than 30 were made if I recall. Several crashed and scrapped.

As a Viper crazed kid, This is the car I always dreamt of… Too bad I will not be in on the action here – Thankfully I have a sapphire/stripes GTS to ease the pain. 🙂

Nice. I also have one of the 01 Sapphires. Great color.

      9:30 AM comment…..

      Blacksunshine

Yesterday while driving my bright Torch Red C7, I came up on an even brighter red with white stripe convertible Viper.

I was practically invisible, I could have been in a tan Camry for all intents and purposes. When Vipers are on the road, EVERYONE is looking, whether they are “car people” or not. They just have a certain presence about them that is captivating.

They are such a rare sight, it’s always exciting to see one “in the wild!”

I agree with Doug, I’m already jealous of the next owner!

The Cognac interior went very well with this color and we sold quite a few. The only trouble today is when finding the Connelly Leather models is the company went out of business almost 2 Decades ago. Mad Cow disease in England was so devastating it infected most of the herd and with only a few cows and bulls left the company folded. It almost sounds humorous to some, but the unhappy situation is an English Automotive Institution folded in bankruptcy and has not been reborn as far as I know. So replacing a Cognac, Connelly Interior is a scary thought and one that has to be addressed if looking to purchase a Viper with the said interior ( especially if there are issues ). There were so few ACRs actually built without AC and a radio I seriously doubt this is one of those. I remember selling a 99 Black ACR with no options and it went to Tucson, Arizona of all places. Eventually this A/C delete machine headed to Australia , but correspondence from the first owner years later told me it was destroyed in a track mishap.

      Here is your chance.

Not to many have come available over the last year or so. Looks to be a decent example.
