      I am considering it, however it would be my first or second track day in my Viper as opposed to BMW M driving school. What would be your thoughts on a novice attending?

      If you’ve done HPDE events solo in other cars and just not in the Viper, you will be good for this event. They have a blue group with solo-approved drivers but have an instructor for that group. If you haven’t done solo events, I wouldn’t suggest this one as a first time event.

      The standard Viper track prep items apply, especially on the brakes for COTA.

      It is the HPDE at COTA. Price has gone up to $400. I believe that is a $25 registration with WRL and $375 for the day.

      Thanks for the info. I’ve driven COTA in some of my other cars but not in the Viper yet.

      Anyone heading to COTA that Friday? They are running a 1-day HPDE ahead of their race weekend. The price is great at $325.
