Participated in a “director conference call” last night. The live date appears to be moved back to Friday, somewhat depending on Don’s timing and our (probably more my) getting the “about” pages to the directors and Don.

A web page, which is pretty intriguing, is going to be up on driveviper.com which will highlight a countdown clock to the club opening. On that page there will be a “forums are now open” link. I’ll post up when everyone can “tell their buds” about the forum opening. I’m not hiding anything here, I’m just posting what I hear. We’re all in the same place as all the directors.

I don’t think anyone is too concerned with the “forum leak”. I don’t have a time yet, but I suspect that at the latest, it will be opened first thing tomorrow. I think the presidents will get notice at tonight’s conference call and they will start spilling the beans immediately afterwards. Usually these calls last 3 hours!

I’ll see if I can get some clarity and report.

Everyone should take a look at all the existing forum posts in the public areas to insure that there’s nothing posted that might be misconstrued by new members as being “offensive”. We’ve been joking around a great deal and I just want to make sure that there isn’t a post up that might lead to any “food for fodder”. If there’s any doubt, we’ll just take it down.
