      Thanks Dread, but I refuse to even think about buying anything from VPA. And Bob is right, I need info on a Gen IV pad.

      Part #5030574AC list price $132, $110 there are 4 of them available right now at Chrysler.

      Yep. Mark was a big help and we PM’d back and forth a few times about it. I asked him about shipping costs from NE, and he said that since it would have to ship form Chrysler to him and then to me, he was worried about shipping damage (apparently damage on them is very common), so he was just helping me out with the info so I could get a local place to order it. That’s service for you right there! Gives the info, but turns down the sale because he knows it might get damaged with all the shipping required to finally reach me.

      Does anyone know the price and availability of a Gen IV hood pad?
      I tried searching online and basically nothing comes up. I know I can call vendors and get some info (dammit, I was just on the phone with Jonb), but I’m just looking for info right now. I’m torn between getting a factory one, or making a custom one out of Thermo-Tec heat shield.
