great info and nice insight. I drink the kool-aid and usually defebd everything Mopar. The Charger sure has a lot of Dart in in(Dodge Darger) lol. I will wait till i see in person. I am sure it will grown on me. The Challenger is a spot on hit and will do very well next year. The T/A although cool was outshined by the Z06 vert.

So now that the press days are over I can type up some notes on what I saw from my first press days at NYIAS.

RAM won the ‘Ad of the year’ award for the farmer commercial that debuted during last years Super Bowl.

The SRT display is between Ford and Nissan. Chrysler/Dodge/Mopar has a huge display is in the back by Mazda.

Speaking of Mazda they brought a collection of 15 or so Miata’s to celebrate the cars 25th anniversary. Really cool.

I met with Ryan Nagode, Adam Barerra, Mike Driehorst, and several others.

The Jeep Renegade is really cool. There’s a ton of ‘easter eggs’ on it.

The Challenger refresh is really well liked it’s 71′ styling cues are very well adapted into the evolution of the original.

The Charger refresh is pretty sweet. I love it, although the internet disagrees. There’s also some ‘easter eggs’ on that car too.

For those of you that like trucks, the new Power Wagon is pretty awesome! Love that truck.

I love the red/black 2014 Challenger Scat Pack on the floor. I want that car so bad.

There’s a black 2015 Challenger race simulator in the Dodge booth also.

Toyota really went the extra mile to reveal the Camry. Literally the entire hall upstairs that was used for vendors they blacked out with curtains with lots of chairs. Think of it like that old apple commercial with the guy throwing the hammer/whatever into the screen.

The 50th anniversary Mustang is very nice. Probably the nicest of the new Mustangs revealed so far. Bill Ford came and left after 20 minutes.

I met Christan Von Koenigsegg! Super nice guy.

I also met Steve Magnante at the Dodge reveal. He loves the Challenger and we both agreed that the Charger looks great, but it’ll take time for people to get used to. It’s happened every time and the internet is a automotive manufactures toughest critic.

As mentioned the Carbon TA is 1 of 10, I was messaged last night and was told the car was being driven out and loaded on a transporter. Maybe it went for a photoshoot in the city some where.

That’s all for now! Photos are being uploaded here the next couple days: https://www.flickr.com/photos/schenphotography/sets/72157644026197682/

Looking forward to seeing NJ/NY/CT VOA members tomorrow for lunch!
