      Well its gotten much worse…

      Oceanside, Bonsall and Fallbrook are all evacuating… I just got a text from the local Sheriff’s dept.. the 126 is closed in both directions in Santa Paula which is over the hill from me…

      Fire season has begun 😡

      At Fashion Island today the MINI said 100 degrees. 104 at JWA (SNA). Well wishes to all down south!

      Those fires scare me. I have friends/family in areas that get the wildfires really bad and hear from them a lot and it always worries me . Please guys, err on the side of caution. Homes can be rebuilt and even our Vipers (as unique as they are and as special to us though they may be) are just things, but you and your family can not be replaced. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and I am sure the whole club has its heart with you. If any of you need to crash in Tucson for a few days let me know.

      As we all figured, today authorities are saying 8 of the 9 fires are suspicious… around 10,000 acres have burned and most of SoCal is under a red flag warning… Escondido is not evacuating… I know we have members there too… I really hope they are out of the area and ok.

      The Supertanker is on the job now, hopefully the fires are out soon…

      The DC10 tanker saved our valley from a fire just before VOI9… 3 passes from it, and the fire was out! Once we were sure all was clear, we jumped in the Gen III and headed for Vegas… we were very lucky…

      30 homes have burned so far with 0% containment… I believe we have some SoCal peeps in Carlsbad…

      Here’s hoping everyone is ok… and the fire is contained soon.

      Sux, but Homes can be replaced…
