Sounds like a lot of fun… I have my buddy John’s ’65 in my garage right now… It’s a kick to drive.

Had a buddy in Wichita who had a tricked out 65 Coupe that looked alot like yours, sans any Supercharger. He let me drive it a couple of times at autocrosses there and though it was many, many years ago, it was the car that made me lust for horsepower!!! Thanks for sharing and post up pics as you work on the Stang.

I’ve posted pics in the past. Since owning the Viper the 66 Mustang hasn’t been running. The day before I left for Iraq in 2010 the hydraulic clutch system failed. 2 months later I bought my first Viper. The Viper was something to look forward to going home. Also I didn’t want to go home to a car I would have to fix so yet another reason for buying the Viper. Funny thing, last year I bought the 97 GTS somewhat for the same reason, the clutch hydraulics failed on the 03.

In any case, this is where I get my username, used to have a “lot of Bondo”, the Mustang sat for 4 years, was vandalized during the move to Tampa in 2012, and the radiator was stolen for the aluminum. I finally got around to installing the new radiator and fired it up, SO HAPPY!

408W with Cleveland heads, Vortech supercharger, Trickflow stage 2 cam, custom headers with Magnaflow 3″ stainless exhaust, Gen3 Viper T56, 03 Cobra IRS, Konis all around, Gen3 Viper seats, 19×9 front, 19×10 rear.

The twine is holding the deck lid due to the latch getting vandalized.
