For mostly stock and bolt-on modded vehicles, 0.045 – 0.055 range works well. I believe the spec calls for 0.050.

I thought the gap was .035 for a Gen 3?

Me too. My factory service manual for 2005 lists 0.033 – 0.038.

A friend and I are replacing the spark plugs on our Gen 3 and Gen 4 cars (we both just hit 30k miles). What gap should we set on the plugs?

I got two sets of plugs off JonB — Champion Copper Plus (I assume for the Gen 3) and Champion Platinum Power (I assume for my Gen 4).
