Yes, you need to adjust the window bosses. Just loosen it and the window will have some slight adjustments you can make.
Can you elaborate a little more, are you saying to loosen the bosses themselves as in where the bosses screw together with the window in between them or the bolts that screws the silver bracket to the bosses?
