      We just finished installing another Gen 5 intake on a Gen 4. Advantages being more power and less heat soak. The new manifold produced 5 more peak hp than our ported Gen 4 manifold and the power was more consistant with multiple pulls.

      Thanks to Doug Shelby who’s new aluminum torque limiters saved us a bunch of machine time. They are a direct replacement and have machined pad on top to better distribute the torque load.

      Attached is a photo of the new intake with the factory torque limiters for the Gen 5 heads. The Gen 4 heads are not machined to accept these. In the past we would machine them at an angle/flush.

      Attached is the comparsion between the new torque limiter and Doug’s replacement.
