you need to be careful with only portions of the aero on the car. The front and rear portions are designed to work together and keep the car grounded on all 4 corners. With just the rear ACR wing all the downforce is isolated to the rear of the car making the front light. Maybe ok on the street but not ideal for the track. Were the rear trunk struts changed to the ACR ones? the standard ones can not support the added weight of the wing.
Enjoy

Hey guys, so I’m currently in a deal with Todd Abrams from A&C Performance for his “unique” 2003 viper. So the story on this car is: It was owned by someone who was sponsored by Mopar, and basically he didn’t like convertibles or got tired of it or whatever, anyways so he had Chrysler put a 2008 Coupe body on it. So basically it’s a 2003 drivetrain and frame, but a 2008 Coupe body. Seems a little extreme to me but whatever. Here’s all the mods to the car besides you know… and entirely different Gen body…
KW V3 Coilovers *09 ACR*
ACR Brake Rotors
Comp Coupe Cam *708*
Mopar computer
Mopar race exhaust *4 cat delete*
Quaife Rear dif with 3.73 gears
Hurst short throw shifter
ACR rear WingSo that’s all well and good you say but wtf is the purpose of this thread? Glad you asked! So primarily this car is going to live on the track, however lets not kid ourselves, sometimes the ego needs a good stroking *NSFW THAT SHIT!* and a guy wants to drive his viper around town. So the first question is: Is there ANY setting for the V3’s that doesn’t liquify ones internal organs? Question 2: Since this thing is gonna be primarily used on the track: To all of you ACR owners, that also have street vipers, how big of a difference will the front splitter and canards make on this car? Will the rear wing only, unbalance the car? I’m tempted to take it off for now until I can afford to throw 10g’s at an ACR front splitter and canards, just afraid of massive understeer with that wing… Also with a 1″ drop would that splitter catch on literally everything if driven on the street? I’m at least gonna have to drive it from my house to the track…
Any comments and input are welcome! Just trying to pick some brainage! Sorry if this post belongs in the Track section.
