Our August monthly meeting will be held at The Depot Restaurant in Greenfield, IN on Saturday, August 12th at 12-noon (EDT).
From Grain Elevator to Family Restaurant
The Depot Restaurant is a family friendly environment that has started its life as the Hancock County Farm Bureau Co-Op grain elevator in 1906.
A group of local residents and business owners created The Depot Street Investment to save the structure from threats of demolition and purchased the property in April, 2020. Having completed the recent renovation to repurpose the property, you can still see the history that has been preserved and repurposed to serve the community. From the building and the woodwork itself, to the machinery, official signage, and original basement on display…
