Best news I have heard though somewhat baffled someone in the States did not snap it up for that amount?

Would be to differ with you ACR08 —–it is not a nice track , it is great , fantastic, phenomenal track. One of my two favorites in the entire US and I am envious you live nearby!! A must track to go to in my estimation — fun and fast for the Snake!!!

I stand corrected. Hopefully we’ll one another out there one day. What’s your other favorite track?

It was. I’ve read it cost over $100 million to build. I think Tooele county was willing to let it go for so cheap because they are hoping the new owners are going to bring a lot of long term business and growth to the county.

Road Atlanta is my other favorite and not giving you a hard time, just expressing my love for Miller — you are one lucky guy to be so close!!!

So here is what I found on NASA, Utah Region Facebook page:
MMP is to become UMC. It was bought by a Chinese company and they have big plans for it. They bought it for $20 million (what a steal), but plan to put much more into it. They even want to build race cars there.
The most important part is it’s going to remain accessible to the public.
The attached pics are a press release giving details about the deal.
