Was looking at the seat lowering kits at the viper store. it says the 2in lowering kit is non-adjustable. You can read about it here:

correct the 2″ pretty much bolts the seat to the floorboard.

PartsRack has them. That’s where I bought mine.

After the Viper Store charging me double(maybe Triple?) for an MGW shifter handle claiming ‘supply and demand’, I won’t purchase anything else there.

      IMO, call Jon.

Most everything I own is from Jon at PartsRack, have him on speed dial. Was just throwing feelers out there if someone had a used one or would like to trade for my 1″ kit.

The viperstore is always overpriced, not sure how they are still around.

I am 6’2 and fit fine with stock seat position and helmet, maybe because I have a very?

Sourced me a 2″ lowering kit. I’ll try that out. On the track it is much better to have the seat back straight up not leaned back. I can not have my helmet on and the seat back all the way straight with the 1″ kit. Could not even have my helmet on with the stock seat bracket.

I don’t know how you could drive with a helmet and the seat back straight up. The headrest on top of the seat protrudes forward and pushes my head way too far forward. I really want to get a racing seat for track days because of this.

Does anyone have a 2″ seat lowering kit they would like to part with for a GenIV Viper?

I currently have a 1″ seat lowering kit from Northwind Engineering on my 2009 ACR. It has been installed for about 500 miles or so. I am not very tall only 6’1″ and this seat lowering kit gives me room for myself and still has room for my helmet comfortably. I just think a 2″ would give me a bit of extra room to play with and have my seat back straight up for better track comfort.
