dried blood stains from sepia leather?
Answer by Adam Brennan:
Hydrogen peroxide method to try to remove blood stains. (Try at your own risk).
This method may be used for more stubborn blood stains which have already dried and cannot be removed completely with soap and water. Make sure to test out a small area of the leather first before proceeding to apply the chemical to the rest of the stain. Apply a few drops of hydrogen peroxide on a dry washcloth, until a small portion of it is saturated. Dab the washcloth on a small portion of the leather item to test for any reaction. If you don’t see any reaction, then dab it on the blood stain. Do not wipe, just dab and dab until the stain comes out. Once you are happy with the blood stain removal, you can take a damp cloth with water and do the same. Just dab. After it dries you can try putting on a leather conditioner of your choice to help. Read and follow the instructions with the leather conditioner of your choice. Again try this at your own risk.
