fuse opens as soon as the high light switch is pulled to turn on the head lights. The fog lamps do not illuminate when the switch is turned to the on position. I have replaced the fog light switch, the head light dimmer switch and swapped the fog lamp and head lights relays (located on the driver’s side left side). Has anyone had a similar problem or recommend a possible solution?

Check the headlight wiring, I have had this issue when the left or right hood spring grounds against the wires as the hood is opened and closed.
