      Sounds Great just a heads up the Rest stop/Welcome Center opens there doors at 7AM see you there..

      When do you think you’ll be leaving the rest area. If I can join up, I probably can’t get there until 7 or 715.

      Probably 6:45-7. It’s only about a 15 min ride from there. We can probably wait out to 7ish for you.

      Great weather! Perfect drive. But SlateEd, what the heck happened!? My first time out in a long while and you “supposEdly” have a serious mechanical on your way? I’m thinking my attendance might have given you second thoughts?

      Thanks for coming out everyone. It was absolutely beautiful out Sunday morning! Glad we ended up getting our own scenic space at Captree.

      Here are some of the pics that I had. Wish I had brought my GF’s DSLR camera instead of my crappy iphone.

      Hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend!

      If any of you Long Islanders haven’t made it to an event this year, then it’s time to dust off those beauties and meet us this Sunday.

      Let’s christen the new LIE rest stop between Eastbound exits 51/52. Figure everyone should get there at 6:30am and we’ll head over to Captree/OBI together. It should be early enough to get good spots for the group.

      We’ll keep an eye on the weather and will report back if things get gloomier at the end of the week.
