There is more going on here than meets the eye, or omitted information we may need.

188F peak Oil Temp is not possible on a Gen-3 application with the Oil/Coolant heat exchanger in anything less than absolutely frigid temps. The Oil Temp should be around 210 based on just about every application I have ever seen. This is suspect, possible related issue?

Secondly, are you comparing thoroughly hot and heat soaked oil temps and pressures? Oil pressure is a variable value based on oil viscosity, RPM, oil temp, load, etc. Please clarify if the needle is bouncing during a steady state condition [Not Normal], or are you noticing a pressure deviation while actually driving around [Likely Normal]?

      Need more info.

Suspect issues are Oil Cooler/temp suspect, oil pickup tube o-rings, pressure relief shuttle valve.

Hi, at 60 mph oil temp. 188f. my oil pressure fluctuating from 68psi — 79psi at idle 47psi–58psi. Took it in for oil change the GEN 5 Viper tech said he checked it out AND he said that’s normal. Car has 508 miles on it. It just started doing this at 436 miles. I found on the VOA site there was a RRT (which I couldn’t open) addressing flex. oil pressure But it showed a date 2013 & 2014 mine is a 2017 GTS-R. I don’t think the flex. oil pressure is normal. I was hoping he would replace the sensor he said no because there is nothing wrong. Any thoughts or opinion’s would be appreciated.

      Thank You
