As far as I know you have to unplug it, it will keep waking the car up. I came in from a track session when it started raining and pulled in the garage and forgot to unplug. It was the last session of the day and the rain threw me off my routine. Came out the next day and car was dead. I never forget anymore lol. I don’t think from what I’ve seen there is any other way. Maybe someone has a better solution.

I have had the same experience with my Solo DL. Forget to unplug it for just one night at the track, the next morning the battery will be dead.

I noticed that the speedometer LED and fuel guage lights on my viper stay on when the AIM Solo DL is plugged into the OBD port. He center tach screen goes black but those stay lit. Is unplugging mandatory to park or is there a setting somewhere that will take care of this?

I would expect the lights to not be on, assuming the power supply input on the AIM Solo DL is disconnected. With the VBOX HD2, I use a toggle switch on the cigarette lighter adapter and leave the ODB2 connector in place. All Lights are off when the switch on the lighter plug is off.
