Welcome, Randy. Like the others have already said, you’re at a great place to learn so much about these amazing machines, whatever generation you land in. We have several great members from the DC-MD-VA region – feel free to shoot me or ViperEnvy a PM and we’ll get you set up with info on club meetings, events, etc. I’m the local chapter VP and Brian (ViperEnvy) is our President. Already had a close call/dodged a bullet. A semi-local 2006 with only 18k miles was for sale at $39,900. Seemed too good to be true and sure enough the vehicle history report indicated that there was a pretty significant accident involving airbag deployment and the need to be towed away from the scene. On to the next one.

Welcome aboard Randy. I think you will recognize me from the Corvette Forum. I still love my Vettes but am so glad I bought a Viper a couple of years ago. Wish I bought one sooner. Having both is a good thing. The best thing you can do is get in touch with your local VOA Chapter and get out and drive one. Good luck.

Yes, Supersonic Blue. Z06 with Z07, carbon package options. Ordered it new in Sep 2010. “Needed” the ACR, but couldn’t bring myself to trade the Corvette, so I kept it too.
