Good luck with your quest.. I also own a 69 Corvette roadster along with a Gen II and a few 60’s Mustangs.
A Viper will surly put a smile on your face… -
Welcome, Randy. Like the others have already said, you’re at a great place to learn so much about these amazing machines, whatever generation you land in. We have several great members from the DC-MD-VA region – feel free to shoot me or ViperEnvy a PM and we’ll get you set up with info on club meetings, events, etc. I’m the local chapter VP and Brian (ViperEnvy) is our President. Look forward to meeting you and best of luck getting that new snake in your garage!

Hey thanks for the welcome messages guys. I appreciate them.
Already had a close call/dodged a bullet. A semi-local 2006 with only 18k miles was for sale at $39,900. Seemed too good to be true and sure enough the vehicle history report indicated that there was a pretty significant accident involving airbag deployment and the need to be towed away from the scene. On to the next one.

I’d like that. I’m in Anne Arundel County. About 15 minutes from downtown Annapolis.

Welcome aboard Randy. I think you will recognize me from the Corvette Forum. I still love my Vettes but am so glad I bought a Viper a couple of years ago. Wish I bought one sooner. Having both is a good thing. The best thing you can do is get in touch with your local VOA Chapter and get out and drive one. Good luck.

I have read many of your threads and posts there. Thanks for the welcome.

AS Capevettes suggests tap into the local club, meet the other owners, you will find lots of help.

You, sir, are doing something right. Gorgeous stablemates. Is the C6 supersonic blue?

Hi guys. I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I am currently the proud…but complacent…owner of a C6 Corvette. I have owned a Mercedes CLS550, a BMW335i, 5 different Corvettes, a Jaguar XK8 convertible and a few others along the way. I’m looking to make the jump into a gen iii Viper in the next 6 months or so. I hope to tap some of the tremendous resources warehoused in this forum to aid in my search. I hope to one day be able to contribute as much, if not more, than I take. Thanks for having me.
