      The Western Reserve VOA proudly announces our third annual Venom Thaw on May 18, 2019! The Venom Thaw will be held along the shores of Lake Erie at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, PA. The Officers are continuing to put the final touches on the schedule and activities for the event.

      Preliminary Schedule

      Friday
      Wobbly Pirate Cruise – 6:15pm
      Dinner – approx. 8.00pm

      Saturday
      Cruise along Presque Isle, which will include Lighthouse Tour and a couple of photo ops.

      Lunch

      Sightseeing cruise aboard the Victorian Princess – 2:30pm

      Cocktail Hour

      Buffet Dinner which will include an auction and socializing with fellow members.

      Sunday
      Maritime Museum tour – 9:30am

      Lodging

      For anyone needing overnight accommodations, rooms are available at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel. We were able to secure rooms overlooking the Bay at a special group rate of $144 per night (plus taxes & fees). The room rate and room block cover both Friday and Saturday night.       Please book your room by April 17, 2019 to ensure receiving the special group rate.

      Pricing & Reservations

      $85 per person

      Price includes the Saturday sightseeing cruise, Venom Thaw dinner, and Sunday Maritime museum tour.
      Event reservations can be made by contacting Beth Glaude at westernreservevoa@gmail.com. Dinner reservations are due no later than May 11, 2019.
