Great Job Mathew and thanks for joining again.
Can you take a picture of the the offensive paint chips?
Honestly, can’t remember seeing any aftermarket hood pads availability. I’d shoot JonB at partsrack an email or call to see if he has any intel http://www.viperpartsrack.com/ partsrack@aol.com

I live not to far from Tators. In 2002 I bought my first Viper, a 1999 GTS. In 2005 Chuck installed a Roe Super Charger on it. You couldn’t be in more capable hands than with Chuck. He’s a great guy .

Just joined the VOA this week, from Smithtown. My newly purchased 01 GTS is up at Tator’s and should be done next week. Got new tires, new fluids and tune up, sway bar links, and upgraded the power steering pulley. Pending a test drive that should be it. Fingers crossedProbably gonna take an Uber up to Chuck because I’ve been patiently waiting to drive her for probably three weeks now. It’s one of the hardest things I ever had to wait for.
One thing I noticed while staring at the car in my garage for a week was the middle part of the hood between the headlights has two “chips” in the paint. Almost as if when closing the hood the points hit the headlights and bend. Ever seen anything like that? And does anyone make replacement hood pads? Mines pretty deteriorated
