      I’m not from the area, but looking at their listing, that’s a little high of an asking price for the mileage and year. I got my 05′ with 18k miles on it for $39k for reference.

      My name is Cajun, I live in Tampa and am a long time Corvette owner. I want to get into my first Viper and am about to close a deal on a 2005 SRT10 vert in the Chicago area.

      I need a knowledgeable Viper owner who is willing to put eyes and ears on and drive the car. The check is in the mail so I likely have until the weekend to have someone do the final once over on the car.

      I trust the people I have spoken to from the dealership and they have checked everything I have asked them to check out on the car. That said, just as with Corvettes, there is nothing like having an owner who knows the normal and abnormal quirks of a certain car to check it out.
