My route will be (from the Northwestern corner of RI, near the MA and CT borders): 395 S to 95 S, over the GWB to 80 W, (here’s where I avoid “toll alley” of I-95). I’ll resume on 80 W to 287 S to 78 W into PA. 78 W turns into 81 W which I continue on until 83 S. Once in MD, 83 S to 695 W (around Baltimore). At this point, depending on road conditions there’s a 90% chance that I’ll remain on 695 W to 95 S. Then 95 S to 495 W (around DC) into VA. Then it’s 95 S for eternity… (pretty much).

The return trip will be: above, reversed, until 287 in NJ…. I stay on 287 and cross the GMCB (formerly Tappan Zee) and follow 87 to 95 N (happens right at the NY/CT state line).

I share this route in case people residing around / through it may be interested in their car’s transport. Feel free to PM / DM / email if interested.

Oh, and if you’ve looked at the photo with my car trailer: My car will be the one directly behind my truck, underneath. The other three spots / vehicles will not have a vehicle directly over them.

Greetings Ladies and Gentleman still looking to attend the NVE4 of 2021!!

My name is Richard and I’m from the NE region of our VOA. I’m reaching out to our “North of MD” and “East of central PA” members to ask if anyone who’s (still) attending NVE4 is looking for transport of their Viper? Because of cancellations from my region, I now have three (3) spots available on my open four-car trailer. (Yup, my car is the only one left). I’m hoping to refill the empty spots as part of my budget to offset my continued attendance to NVE4. If I don’t have the spots refilled by the 20th, there’s a good chance I may bow out of participating too.

I’m a very experienced (nearly 2 decades now) “large” boat hauler and have a perfected route from RI to FL. I’d like to offer our members a round trip fare for their viper of $1k, picked up from their residence (or location of their choosing nearby) and dropped off at our hotel in Miami or at the track (where I’ll be parking my “rig” during our attendance, per NVE4 arrangements). I intend to depart 2 days before our check in for NVE4.

My “Rig” is a well maintained 2012 Ram 3500 Dually with 26k capacity 5th wheel hitch for the 2014 Appalachian 4-car “mini” stacker. As in my boat hauls, your car will be handled as I’d want my own handled. They will be four point secured over the rubber portion of the tires OR by “T” hook in the frame. I will be more than happy to answer inquiries or listen to your suggestions of preference on securing your Viper.

For now, I’m not sure what else to say. I have been looking forward to NVE4 since joining the VOA in late 2018. I am sure I share the same disappointment with it being postponed but also share enthusiasm that it’s not cancelled entirely. I hope that I can help others to continue their attendance WITH their vehicle, and that at least two other people can help me continue my attendance to NVE4 by booking a spot on my trailer within the next couple of days.

      Respectfully,
      Richard
