Maybe this post belongs in “Off topic”; but, I felt that it would be of most interest to the guys in this forum who would be racing enthusiasts and those that work on improving their cars.

I just watched a great documentary featuring Stirling Moss and Norman Dewis (Jaguar test driver) and their involvement with the development of the disc brake for automotive use by Jaguar and Dunlop. Excellent insight into racing in the 1950s from guys who were actually there. Back when race cars were actual road cars that they drove to major international races and then drove home afterward.

I happen to be a sports car enthusiast who was raised around british sports cars and reading my big brother’s Road and Track magazines in the very early 1960s, so these guys are my heros from an early age. The Gen 2 Viper was my modern substitute for the Jaguar C-type (among other 50s and 60s racecars)

I thought that some of you might want a break from watching “Dances with Stars” or whatever normally is on TV in your house, LOL.
