This car has been stored in an air-conditioned garage for 99% of its life. The owner bought this 2005 car at the end of 2006 off the store floor, 100% new. Then, had major surgery. The surgeon worked an extra 1 1/2 hours because he admitted to THREE serious errors. The spinal cord is damaged for life with pain forever. The owner barely able to drive; the spouse mostly drove her around when she could tolerate the jerking. The only road time was Northern California mountain road runs, as a club group. The car is in absolutely perfect condition. Smells new inside. No evidence of wear anywhere. Ony this one Viper has OEM GPS. The original radio is stored. One bump cracked one part of the front. 10 feet away, you couldn’t see it; like a small crack on an egg. Insurance wanted that just “fixed.” Owner paid for total replacement of the entire front of the car, and original paint; not just the front, but back to the doors ($10k). Done at the Normandon Dodge dealer in San Jose. Miles less than 14k. From sitting too much, one strut leaked. Replaced all four struts with race adjustable struts, with professional corner-balancing; $5k. Oil and filter replaced every 3k miles — looks like honey, never dark. Front air filter open and perfectly white. Is original. Tires new; perhaps 2k miles max. ‘replaced at 10 years. Have pictures of the underside. Always washed by hand with bottled super-clean deionized water. Car paint was professionally de-swirled and gloss-metered immediately after purchase ($1k). After every drive, car is washed, lightly spray-waxed, and wheels removed and cleaned. All cloth new, used once then disposed of. Car condition was monitored by a licensed aircraft mechanic.
Bottom line: This could be sold as new at a dealership – if they were willing to lie a little…. 🙂 $65K firm.
